It’s Wednesday so it means Waiting on Wednesday. wohoo.
So today, I’m waiting for the two Filipino Authors who also happened to published their book International. (HOORAY)
No Love Allowed by Kate Evangelista
It’s all fun and parties until someone falls in love in this modern fairy tale from author Kate Evangelista.
Caleb desperately needs a fake girlfriend. Either he attends a series of parties for his father’s law firm with a pretty girl on his arm, or he gets shipped off to Yale to start a future he’s not ready for and isn’t sure he wants. And sadly, the last unattached girl in his social circle has just made the grievous mistake of falling in love with him. Fortunately, Didi, recently fired waitress and aspiring painter, is open to new experiences. As the summer ticks by in a whirl of lavish parties, there’s only one rule: They must not fall in love!
2. Unscripted Joss Byrd by Lygia Day Peñaflor
Katherine Jacobs at Roaring Brook has acquired Filming the Locals, a YA debut by Lygia Day Peñaflor about a young actress struggling to meet the demands of an ambitious director, his edgy script, and her pushy mother.
Why I am waiting?
Because they are Filipinos like me. And the description of the book makes me intriguing. I love Contemporary novels so that’s why I’m waiting for them. Well I hope their books will be out too here in the Philippines.
And also I want to thank Jasmine because she posted them in her blog. 🙂
