Genre: Young Adult, Mythology, Fantasy

Rating: ★★★

Time is running out. War will be waged. Sacrifices will be made.

Months ago, Nicole Cassidy’s life was turned upside-down when she discovered that she was a witch descended from the Greek gods. She and the four other witches gifted with elemental powers fought all over the world—and in another dimension—to battle the supporters of the Titans and fight for the people they love.

Now the Elementals must stop Typhon—the most dangerous monster in the world—from rising, and seal the portal to the dangerous prison world of Kerberos. But they won’t be able to do that without facing their hardest decision yet… a sacrifice so great that it may be one they’re not willing to make.

Okay..(long pause)…this is the final book in the series and I’m not OKAY not because that this is the end but because of what’s been happening on this book. It’s an EMOTIONAL WRECK for me.

The Hands of Time story revolve around the Elementals (Nicole, Blake, Chris, Danielle, and Kate) to seal the portal of Kerberos and turning Typhon into stone in saving the world. As always, Michelle’s writing is fast paced and it is really entertaining. With all the adventures that me and the elementals been through, this final book has got me mixed emotions. 1. because LIFE ISN’T FAIR and not because something or someone good will happen, there’s always a crying moment that will shed your tears. (yeah! It is really sad.. I’m WARNING YOU GUYS!) 2. as what I told above about Michelle’s writing the story is fast paced and there’s nothing wrong about that, however, this final book is really fast REALLY FAST and every time I finish this particular chapter it left my mouth agape. Sometimes, I can’t handle the sudden momentum. 3. there’s a lot of sacrificing going on around here and I can’t handle it. It’s too much to handle. I’m contemplating whether I’m sad or angry, so just leave it here. 4. It’s not an action packed anymore because it’s too easy for them to complete the task and I was like, okay that was awesome. But there’s no edge of the seat moment.

As for the characters, they are all awesome!! They are all heroes in the making and really brave. They sacrificed a lot in saving this world against the evil. Every time that I will think about these characters, there’s a tear in my eyes. (kidding, just sad. LOL) *heavy breathing*

Mini spoiler: after all the occurrence in this series, finally, the gods and goddess are here and helping them to kick some evil ass.

In a nutshell: the hands of time is like telling us that the time is precious and you have to make a choice because many people were dependent on you even if it sacrificing what you really love or wants. So yeah, it’s a bittersweet feeling.

So, if anyone who’s finish reading this story, let’s talk and grieve about it. LOL.

Have you finish reading this? If so, what do you think of the finale?
